About me

In 2005 I graduated with a M.Sc. in Forestry at the University of Firenze, Italy. I then worked as forestry consultant in Italy: preparation of forest management and harvesting plans (especially on coppice), access to CAP funds, GIS and geodatabase and projects.

During 2008/09 I attended a Master’s Degree in Geomatics and Natural Resources Evaluation at University of Firenze and Instituto Agronomico per l’Oltremare (Italy), with a thesis prepared after a field study in Ethiopia.

From 2010 to 2014 I worked as GIS and forestry consultant in different South-East Asian countries (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos) for international NGOs .

Now I am a PhD student at Bangor University, Wales, UK, working on forest regeneration modelling.
